Praha 6 Vokovice — Complete Pipe Reconstruction in a 120 m² Apartment
Challenge
A 120 m² apartment in Praha 6 Vokovice was undergoing a full renovation. The owner wanted underfloor heating throughout the entire apartment and new pipes for everything — water, heating, drainage, and sewage. We worked as a subcontractor for the construction company Kopecky Rekonstrukce, so coordination was critical. Electricians, tilers, flooring specialists — every trade had to follow on from the last without downtime.
Solution
We started with underfloor heating — a REHAU system covering the entire floor area, delivering even warmth from the ground up. Heating distribution was done in press-fit copper, water supply in PPR, and drainage in HT. Each material was chosen for its specific use: copper for heating (durability and leak-proof joints), PPR for water supply (longevity and hygienic safety), HT for drainage (chemical resistance). We coordinated day by day with the other trades on site.
Result
The apartment now has underfloor heating across the full 120 m². No radiators on the walls, even heat distribution, and lower running costs. New pipes with a lifespan of over 50 years. The renovation was completed on schedule, and the collaboration with Kopecky Rekonstrukce worked seamlessly.
